MAF

We spent some time in Kampala last month. It was a great time to meet and discuss plans with those who will be involved in WHM Sudan. One of those was Mission Aviation Fellowship (MAF). MAF has been faithfully supporting WHM ministries throughout our time here. They've flown us and teams (any some of you) in and out of the district, especially during crisis (Ebola/war) or emergency (they flew us out when Gaby decided to be born a month early). They run a guesthouse in Kampala which is becoming another home to us, and they have always been available to help with other logistics. They are a fabulous support organization, that serves faithfully, allowing other ministries to flourish.

We are looking to partner with them in Southern Sudan as well. Since the journey to Mundri is about 3 days and can be dangerous, we will usually fly in and out with MAF.
They also desire to expand the logistics arm of ministry and we will help them do so. We have plans to put a container on their airstrip in Kijansi and be filling it while in Kampala with building materials, homeschooling materials, household items, tools, etc. They will toss stuff on their regular Tues/Thurs flights to Sudan when there is space. They may even be able to get some fresh veggies on some flights!
Getting travel permits is also a long process and visitors and team coming to Mundri will need them. Richard, the MAF Logistics guy, can help with that, too.
