Water...strike one

New Life Fellowship, Glassboro, has generously donated funds to dig a new borehole in Mundri.  The water office chose a needy location very close to a primary school in the village of Amalo.

We were excited to hear that there was a drilling rig currently nearby that was willing to come and drill for us.  Then there were a few setbacks:  the foreman of the drilling rig had malaria and typhoid and then rig was stuck in the mud where it had been parked.

Today, drilling began!  Unfortunately, the first place the drill attempted, didn't find enough water after 75 meters.  The clay was also caving in.

So they are pulling out and will try a new location.  Pray for success!
