Yesterday's preacher shared the scripture about the widow, who got justice not because of the uprightness of the judge, but because of her persistance. If that judge offered justice, all the more, can't our Pure Judge provide it? He said that many people believe the season of peace they are experiencing now is a result of the persistant prayers of the Sudanese people and others.
He urged us to couple prayer with faith, to be confident in our Lord. The God we pray to has a long track record of bringing forth His designs in seemingly hopeless cases.
This week our family travels to the States for a few months where we hope to connect with many of you. We hope to share what we've seen here and the faith that is evident. We will be asking you to partner with this nation in prayer. To ask God bring about justice, to care for the oppressed and to do it in a miraculous way that protects them from entering another decade of war. We can also pray for the faith for the Sudanese to be strengthened, even if they enter dark times.
