Directors!  We have been blessed with amazing leadership in World Harvest.  Two of our three Executive Directors have landed in Africa.  Bob Osborne, Josiah Bancroft, and his wife, Barbara along with our East Africa Field Director, Scott Myhre have begun meeting with the Uganda team.  Next week we will have an Team Leader's meeting in Uganda.

WHM now has teams in Kenya, Uganda, South Sudan and a new one underway in Burundi.  We do a mix of ministries caring for people body and soul.  I am always encourage to hear the creative ways people are reaching out.

Please pray for our team leader's meetings, that we will spur one another on and that our connection with the rest of WHM will be strengthened.

We are blessed to have Bob, the Bancrofts, most of the Myhre family, and Acacia! join us in South Sudan immediately after the meeting next week. (Acacia will then stay a month for term break)

The market 4 years ago

A lot has changed since some of them have been here last.  The population has skyrocketed surrounding the formation of the new nation.  Houses, shops and traffic have increased dramatically.  Plus, as a new NGO, we are finally putting down some roots of our own.

Our guests will be the first to use the new houses we built for future teammates. We are painting, cleaning, and planning. Some of our new Australian friends are helping with sewing curtains and painting.  Caleb is being trained in putting in solar electricity for the first house so he can do the second on his own.
