The latest Sudan teammates are here in Mundri and are diving in. Both are familiar with the developing world, so their transition has been relatively smooth. Kim has spent a few years in Uganda, while Christine has visited relatives in Brazil every two years of her life.
Kim already has found a wonderful language instructor, Mary. They meet for lessons 2 hours a day, M-F. Today Kim is a guest at Mary's home. Kim also has begun language walks to try out her Moru. She has even continued her long tradition of being Liana's teacher. In Bundibugyo, she taught Liana 1rst and 2nd grade, now they are doing 4th grade writing and spelling together. Having structure to her day is a plus for Kim.
Christine has been able to be a part of repairing 3 boreholes and digging a new one. See her blog http://www.immeasurablymorewhm.blogspot.com for her story and pictures. She has settled into the safari tent on our compound with Larissa. It has been a joy to finally meet her and get to know her.
