Food

Gaby joined Scott and Billy's family in his large field planting groundnuts (peanuts).  The rains have come.  The sporadic nature of the rains this year could be devestating. Pray for a good season.
After the land is cleared, divots are dug and one peanut is put in each hole.

The peanuts are then covered with dirt by hand.

Acacia and Christine headed out to the market with their new front baskets.  We are grateful that the market has a decent selection of beans, eggs, cabbage, tomatoes and rice.

We use propane for our stove and we are having trouble getting it.  Pray for propane and for me to trust God in the feeding of my family.  Also, South Sudan, could have food and fuel shortages on a large scale during the transition to independence and in climate change.  Thanks for praying.
