Who’s heard of ferro-cement? It is a building technique used for creating water tanks. Wire mesh supporting a coating of cement creates a strong structure without a lot of materials. Michael has decided that we should attempt this technique for building some of our housing.
Larissa and Christine’s little hut is round for added strength. Currently it looks like a zoo cage. The walls and a bed are shaped out of the wire mesh. The desks and shelves are next. Then they will cover it with cement and Voila! A termite-proof establishment!
