Funeral Journey for Larissa

Larissa packed up her sheets, mosquito net and some personal items yesterday and was off with Vicki for a week.  The journey was roughly 8 hours, mostly by bus.  In Vicki’s hometown, they are burying her well loved cousin-brother.  He was an older man, whose civil engineering abilites allowed him to have a hand in the building up of Juba.  He was well known there and many will be streaming in from Juba over the next week.  Vicki will be acting as a hostess.  Tomorrow the grave site should be finished and the next day will be the actual burial.

Larissa has a great opportunity to meet people, learn culture and language, be a help to Vicki, as well as see a rural village.  She goes enthusiastically and humbly.
