I remember when we loaded up the plane to come here. We had everything…including the kitchen sink. Now the kitchen sink has been removed from storage and a table has been made for it to sit upon. Michael and Kyle knocked a hole in the wall and the sink even drains. It drains into an outside bucket for now, but that will change.
A local carpenter and his assistant have spent the past 10 days making the sink stand and a table and shelves for use as a counter next to it. Luxury! There was a huge desk that we were using in the kitchen. With its removal, we can comfortably hold more than one person in the kitchen.
The sink doesn’t have running water yet, but that complex task is for next week.
