Mundri seems to be a hub for people moving around S. Sudan. With its airstrip and newly smoothed road from Juba, you find a huge variety of people.
Early mornings you can see10 huge tractor trailers parked on the sides of the road. Truck drivers place their mattresses and cots on the ground next to their trucks to spend the night.
A group of 40 Chinese men have been working to prepare a farm to produce food for a Juba restaurant. The Yei river allows for good irrigation.
We also meet missionaries coming and going from different parts of Africa and America. They fly into Mundri and move out from there. This week, Michael brought a group of 4 missionaries visiting from West Africa to a village 2 hours away. They will be conducting a trauma counseling workshop, literacy workshop and Brad W. will be checking the Moru Cado translation of the book of Matthew.
