Hot Chocolate and Happy Tomatoes

 

 

Rain visited us this weekend!  Early Saturday morning met us with an hour of constant rain.  The dry ground drank it in thirstily.  That night we had a show of lightening and cool breezes.  On Sunday morning it rained for a few hours!  The soil remained moist all day.  In our house, the temperature dropped to the 80s.  Outside it was in the mid 70s!  Most of us found great relief from the relentless heat of dry season and were filled with hope that we had made it through the worst of it.  Our tomato plants were so happy.  My children felt they needed to warm up and resorted to hot chocolate.
