The oven

 

I’m not happy with my sun oven.  Using solar energy for baking  is a wonderful concept, but despite the blazing sun, the sun oven doesn’t get as hot as I’d like, or at the time I want.  Plus it is very small and you can only put a little bit in at a time.  We met with a guy today who is crafting us an oven from sheet metal today.  The local oven is a sheet metal box, with a rim for holding charcoal on top.  You can also put some coals below.  We are craving a loaf of bread, plus Gaby is asking for chocolate chip cookies.

 

He said it will be ready tomorrow.  Sounds fast!  We’ll see how it works.
